About this policy
This policy explains how OptiLZ processes information when you use the OptiLZ website and web app. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to zafirov.luka@gmail.com.
Information OptiLZ processes
- Google account identity information, including your Google account ID, email address, name, and profile picture.
- Your OptiLZ profile, including your username, first name, optional last name, selected country, friends, and account settings.
- Information you choose to record in OptiLZ, such as schedules, sleep, hydration, nutrition, routines, goals, stock, ingredients, meals, and uploaded images.
- Account-service records, including sign-in dates, energy and credit balances, achievement rewards, and purchase records. OptiLZ does not store payment-card details.
- Technical information required for security and operation, such as session cookies and limited request information processed by the hosting provider.
Google user data and Google Sheets
When you choose Google sign-in, OptiLZ requests basic identity scopes and limited permission to create, read, and update only Google Drive files you use with OptiLZ. OptiLZ uses this permission to create or connect your private OptiLZ spreadsheet, provision the required tabs, and synchronize the information you enter in the app. It does not grant OptiLZ access to every file or spreadsheet in your Google account. OptiLZ does not use Google user data for advertising and does not sell it.
OptiLZ stores the connected spreadsheet ID and an encrypted Google refresh token so synchronization can continue after the initial sign-in. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the user-facing OptiLZ features you request. OptiLZ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Where information is stored
Most personal tracking data is stored in the Google Sheet connected to your own Google account. OptiLZ also uses protected Cloudflare services for authentication connections, account profiles, friendships, credits, energy, achievements, administration, and purchase records. Some display preferences may be stored locally in your browser.
Service providers and data sources
OptiLZ uses Google for sign-in and Sheets synchronization and Cloudflare for hosting, security, and application storage. Weather and location queries use Open-Meteo. Barcode lookups and default product images may use Open Food Facts. Some product names may be translated through MyMemory by Translated. If payments are enabled, Stripe may process checkout and payment details under its own privacy policy.
Why information is used
Information is processed to authenticate users, provide requested app functions, synchronize and restore data, operate account balances and purchases, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and meet legal obligations. OptiLZ does not perform automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Retention and deletion
OptiLZ keeps information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting duties. You can remove data from your connected Google Sheet or revoke OptiLZ's Google access in your Google Account. To request deletion of the OptiLZ account records held outside your Sheet, email the address above from the Google account linked to OptiLZ.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Revoking Google access stops future Google Sheets synchronization but does not automatically delete existing records.
Security and changes
OptiLZ uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Material updates to this policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
